“I am 32 years old. I have been battling Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for 6 years. I haven’t been able to go back to work so I spend my time volunteering. I am a part of Pink Pearl because I want to help other young women that are going through cancer and give hope to anyone with a life limiting illness.
What inspires me is talking to others that are sick with any illness, I feel that when I hear a story that is worse than mine, I can’t help but feel that if they can do it, then so can I. I also draw from my husband and family who support me but also give me inspiration to keep fighting.”
