Simone holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto. She has dedicated her career to working in pediatric and adult healthcare settings across both Canada and the United States. Simone is deeply committed to health equity and the delivery of person-centered care.
With extensive experience in grief therapy, she has supported individuals and families in understanding and coping with illness-related loss. Currently, Simone serves as the Social Work Program Specialist for the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Program of Ontario at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto.
In this role, she provides direct clinical support to AYA patients while also contributing to program development at both the provincial and national levels. Her work focuses on expanding access to AYA oncology services and enhancing the quality of care for this unique population.
